BBB International Friends DayA Walk Along the Cheonggyecheon on the Occasion of BBB’s 5th AnniversaryKorea BBB Association is a non-profit organization which was established in 2002 by citizen volunteers with the purpose of helping foreign visitors with any language difficulties they might encounter during their stay in Korea. (BBB is an abbreviation for Before Babel Brigade and refers to the period in history before the confusion of languages at the time of the Tower of Babel.) BBB volunteers offer a free interpretation service via mobile phone in 17 languages to help foreigners gain a better understanding of Korea – its day-to-day life and its culture. To celebrate its 5thanniversary, Korea BBB Association will be holding its "BBB International Friends Day" at Cheonggyecheon.
